Every year in late October, private vehicle restrictions are implemented for one week in the Oirase Gorge to protect its natural environment and ease traffic congestion.

During the restriction period, a paid shuttle bus is scheduled to run between the Oirase Keiryū Onsen Ski Resort Parking Lot and the Yasumiya Parking Lot.

【Private Vehicle Restriction Area】

Along National Route 102, from the Sobe Intersection to the Nenokuchi Intersection (approx. 10 km).

Please use the Oirase Bypass on National Route 102 as a detour.

【Oirase Keiryū Onsen Marche / Food Trucks】

During the restriction period, a marche and food trucks will be available at the following locations.

We invite you to enjoy them along with your walk through the gorge.

①Oirase Keiryū Onsen Parking Lot (across from the Oirase Keiryū Onsen Ski Resort)

②Oirase Keiryū Shirogane Parking Area (near Ouse Bus Stop)

【Notes】

・The restrictions also apply to rental cars, motorcycles, motorized scooters, and electric kick scooters within the regulated area.

・Buses, large and medium-sized vehicles, and taxis are permitted to pass, but we kindly ask for your cooperation in refraining from entering the area during the restriction period.
