Every year in late October, a one-week restriction on private vehicle traffic is implemented in the Oirase Keiryu area to help protect the natural environment and reduce traffic congestion.

During the restriction period, a paid shuttle bus is scheduled to operate between the Oirase Keiryu Onsen Ski Resort parking lot and the Yasumiya parking lot.

【Private Vehicle Restriction Area】

The restricted section is approximately 10 km long, between the Sobe Intersection and the Nenokuchi Intersection on National Route 102.

This section is shown in red on the map below.

Please use the Oirase Bypass (National Route 102) as a detour route.

【Shuttle bus】

A limited-time shuttle bus will be operating from Monday, October 27 to Sunday, November 2, 2025.

【Oirase Keiryu Onsen Marche / Food Trucks】

During the period, a marche and food trucks will be set up at the following locations.

Please enjoy them along with your walk through the Oirase Keiryu area.

【Important Notes】

・The traffic restriction also applies to rental cars, motorcycles, motorized scooters, and electric kickboards within the restricted area.

・Buses, large vehicles, mid-sized vehicles, and taxis are permitted to pass through, but we kindly ask for your cooperation in refraining from entering the area during the restriction period whenever possible.
