Oirase Keiryu Onsen Bon Odori Gathering

Bon Odori at Oirase Keiryu Onsen—once a beloved part of summer here—returned last year after a seven-year break.

Last year, it drew a big crowd, with people gathering to dance to the Yakeyama Ondo.

Put on a yukata and drop by—you’ll want to join the circle.

Bon Odori is a traditional Japanese summer dance. In Oirase, people dance to a local song called the “Yakeyama Ondo.”
