At the Towada Art Center, the museum’s first solo exhibition by sculptor Kineta Kunimatsu, who is based in Hokkaido, is held.
Kunimatsu has created works that engage with trees shaped over long periods of time and materials drawn from the land, focusing on the boundaries between nature, time, and space.
This exhibition presents his representative works as well as new pieces created through his encounters with the nature of Towada.
