The history of Towada faith is essential to understanding the cultural significance of Lake Towada.
Lakebed surveys have uncovered numerous artifacts and other evidence indicating that the Uranai-ba (Divination Site) was an important place of worship within this tradition.
This exhibition features photographs taken during underwater surveys of the Lake Towada Uranai-ba site, along with artifacts recovered from the lakebed.
