After the cherry blossom season in central Towada, moss phlox begins to bloom in Yakeyama.
At Oirase gorge Onsen Ski Resort, about 70,000 moss phlox plants cover the ski slope in a vibrant display, spreading across a 30-meter-wide and 260-meter-long area.
